Useful learning
It is a miracle every time that you actually learn something useful in college. In physics you can submit questions with the online pre-class quizzes. The questions are anonymous. I asked the following "how big would a trebuchet have to be to achieve escape velocity for people?" The teacher actually selected this one and showed us how to work the equation. I believe that escape velocity is around 100,000 m/s. Escape velocity is basically the speed at which you just fly out of the earth's gravitational pull and out to space. Well the teacher showed us how to do the equations and all. The only problem is that we are going to need a trebuchet that has an arm the size of a football field. And a very large counterweight. But hey, give it up for learning something useful and fun.
